Benefits of Ceramic Coating in Gold Coast

Last week, I received a call from an owner of a Nissan Navara on the Gold Coast mentioning that his car had faded paint and the interior needed a detail. I was also asked if a cut and polish would breath new life into the car and if a ceramic coat would help maintain the paintwork as it’s regularly kept outside.

So we arranged a time to inspect the vehicle interior and exterior.

Vehicle Inspection & Cut & Polish Detail Recommendation

After inspecting the Patrol, I found a substantial amount of paint degradation, and an interior clean was needed.

My Recommended Solution:

✔ Full paint decontamination to remove contaminants and oxidisation.
✔ Cut and polish to eliminate light and medium scratches.
✔ Final polish & paint protection sealer and application of a Ceramic coat.

✔ Interior detail comprising of shampooing of all fabric interior surfaces and           cleaning all vinyl trims.

The Process

Step 1: Paint Decontamination & Cleaning

  • The first step was to clean the paintwork from contamination.
  • A comprehensive exterior wash and clay bar decontamination was performed to remove built-up dirt, road grime, and other contaminants.
  • After another final wash, to confirm any residue from the previous step had been removed before beginning a machine cut and polish stage.

Step 2: Cut & Polish

  • A cut and polishing process was preformed by using different compounds and polishing pads to remove the medium scratches and swirl mark. Finally a paint protection sealer was applied to enhance the look and feel of the surface.

 

Step 3: Ceramic Coating

After full inspection of the paintwork in our closed temperature controlled workshop, a Fireball ceramic coat was applied to finally give the paintwork a deep wet look and a protection from UV far above polish alone.

The Final Result

The difference was amazing!

With the contaminants removed and the polish completed, the paint could now reflect light properly, revealing its true colour with a deep gloss and smooth to the touch. Interior clean and a fresh odor.

Kia Cerato: Cut & Polish for a Great Finish – Gold Coast

Last week, I received a call from an owner of a Kia Cerato on the Gold Coast. After mentioning that his car had faded paint and white marks and asked if a cut and polish could remove them. He also noted that he had never used a service like this before.

So i arranged a time to inspect the vehicle with the owner.

After inspecting the Kia, I found calcium deposits on the paintwork and windows, along with heavy contamination.

The Process

Step 2: Cut & Polish

The Final Result
